Asian phenol and acetone markets were stable to lower week over week Dec. 2, tracking changes in the domestic China phenol and acetone markets.CFR China and CFR Southeast Asia phenol markers $20/metric ton low week over week at $720/mt and $780/mt, respectively, on Dec. 2, tracking weakness in the domestic China market.Discussions in the domestic China market continued to trend lower week over week for phenol, with East China ex-tank discussions heard at Yuan 6,000-6,050/mt for phenol, compared with Yuan 6,220-6,250/mt in the previous week."I think it's because it's the end of the year.
