Asian benzene prices were down $1-2/mt to
$954-980/mt FOB Korea, Aug. 11. Spot
discussions in the physical markets were less active on Aug. 11. The H2
September loading bid was heard at $953-980/mt FOB Korea, as opposed to the
$960-980/mt offer for the same loading range. Participants in the market noted that China import interest
remained low. The buying indication was heard at $990-1010/mt, as opposed to
$1,010-1,040/mt August arrival CFR China. While the floating bids were heard at
September WMOPK plus $25-30/mt, against an offer of plus $30-35/mt September
arrival CFR China cargoes, Sources claim
