The Indian toluene market grew more active Aug. 1 amid rising buying activity and domestic prices. the CFR India toluene cash differential up $1/ mt day over day at FOB Korea plus $79/mt, under corroborated offers heard at FOB Korea plus $80/mt, above a bid heard at FOB Korea plus $75/mt, and amid a significant rise in domestic prices. Toluene CFR India was assessed at $773/mt CFR India, up $7/ mt day over day, amid FOB Korea values rising $6/mt day over day to $694/mt. Offers of FOB Korea plus $80/mt and $85/mt were present during the Market on Close assessment process, with bids received around FOB Korea plus $75/mt from Indian buyers.
