Grupa Azoty eyes maintenance at oxo-alcohols plant

Grupa Azoty is likely to take off stream its oxo-alcohols plant in Kedzierzyn. A source in Poland informed a team member, “The company is in plans to shut the plant in August 2025 for maintenance. The exact date and duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Kedzierzyn, Poland, the oxo-alcohols plant has an N-butanol (NBA) production capacity of 35,000 mt/year, isobutanol (IBA) production capacity of 20,000 mt/year, and 2-ethylhexanol (2-EH) production capacity of 170,000 mt/year.
