in the USA were flat during the week of July 26. This was due to stable pricing
indicators amid limited supply and low market activity. Prices were estimated at $785-$805/dmt FOB USG. An $810
domestic spot caustic soda deal was confirmed ex-plant. According to
market sources, spot caustic soda availability was still low and sellers were
focusing mainly on contract customers. On July 26,
two force majeures on chlor-alkali were in effect, which has kept the supply of
caustic soda tight for many months. After a
