The Asian styrene monomer market remained
flat at $1.060/mt CFR China and $1.080.50/mt FBO China on the same day. This
was despite a weaker domestic market as well as a stronger dollar against the
dollar. At parity
with the CFR China marker, the FOB Korea marker was at $1,060-1,100/mt FOB
Korean. Due to the stronger yuan in
relation to the US dollar, domestic China prompt markers were weaker at Yuan
75/mt at Yuan 8.165/mt. Ex-tank. This equated to $1,047.76-1,087.95/mt
