On April 20, Asian
butadiene was rated stable day by day. The
volatile upstream market kept Asian butadiene market participants on a wait-and-see stance. According to data from
Commodity Insights, June ICE Brent futures dropped $4.26/barrel on April 20 to
$100-120/b. The data showed that Asian
naphtha prices fell $30-35/mt due to a weaker crude oil market. They were
assessed at $910-930/mt on April 20. Due to
the lower price of domestic materials in China, there was little demand for
imported materials. According to data, the
local China butadiene price was Yuan 9,700-9,800/mt as of April 20. This is
unchanged from the previous day. According
to data, the local China price was calculated as $1,310-1,340/mt using import
parity. This is almost $100-120/mt...
