The Board of Deepak Chem Tech Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Deepak Nitrite Limited ("Deepak" or "Company") has approved a project to manufacture 300 KTA Phenol and 185 KTA Acetone as well as 100 KTA Isopropyl Alcohol. This includes greenfield infrastructure capex and will cost an estimated Rs 3,500 crores. The new capacity for Phenol, Acetone and Isopropyl Alcohol ('IPA') will be integrated into the production of Polycarbonate Resins.
