Due to weak demand and rising energy
prices, Asian monoethylene glycol imports were stable on Nov. 29. The January Intercontinental Exchange Brent
crude oils futures increased $4.1/b to $85.20/b by 4:30 PM Singapore time (0830
GMT), Nov. 29. The Yuan 16/mt active traded January futures on
Dalian Commodity Exchange rose to Yuan 3,873/mt on Nov. 29, News: ME Global has
nominated its monoethyleneglycol Asia contract price at $800/mt CFR Asia in December.
This is $10/mt less than November, according to a source. Europe
prices were last assessed at $624/mt CIF-ARA. Although
the Asia-to Europe arbitrage was available, traders said that demand was low.
