Chang Chun Plastics to halt production at solvents unit

Chang Chun Plastics is likely to shut down its solvents unit in Kaohsiung. A source in Taiwan informed a team member, “The company is expected to take the unit off stream for maintenance by mid-February 2026. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, the solvents unit has a phenol production capacity of 300,000 mt/year and acetone production capacity of 185,000 mt/year
