Huizhou Yussen halts production at No.1 MTBE plant

Huizhou Yussen Chemical has taken off stream its No.1 Methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) plant in Guangdong. A source in China informed a team member, “The company has halted operations at the plant around July 23, 2025 for maintenance. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Huizhou, Guangdong in China, the No.1 plant has production capacity of 600,000 mt/year.
