Crude sinks amid potential release of US SPR, OPEC+

Asian MTBE dropped $15-20/mt
on the day to $1,105-1,125/mt FOB Singapore, March 31, in line with weaker
gasoline prices and lower crude oil markets. The 92
RON gasoline fell 1.58% to $120-130/b. Meanwhile, the front-month ICE Brent
crude oil futures were down 2.56% to $105-110/b at 4:30 PM Singapore time (0830
GMT). Due to the possible release of US
strategic petroleum reserves (SPR), as well as the upcoming OPEC+ Meeting on
March 31, the crude oil price fell. The
MTBE market sentiment remained buoyant, however, due to the strong gasoline
blending demand in the wake of Ramadan's festive peak season in Southeast Asia,
