Asian isomer-grade mixed xylene was
unchanged at $970.50-990.50/mt FOB Korea and at $971.50-990.50/mt CRU Unv1. It
was also down $5-6/mt to $960-980/mt CRU China on Aug. 10, in keeping with rising
crude oil prices and China's domestic market. Upstream markets saw
October ICE Brent crude oil futures rise $0.56-1.50/barrel to $95.69-100.50/b
on Aug. 8. Asian trade was open at 0830 GMT on Aug. 10. On August 9, National Day, the Singapore market was closed. The August ex-tank MX price in East China was heard at Yuan
7610-7,710/mt or approximately $978.40-990.50/mt based on import parity.
September was heard at Yuan 7480-7,500/mt or $950.90-970.50/mt. According to a Chinese trader, arbitrage into China is
