The Asian mono ethylene glycol price (MEG), was stable on April 21 despite thin trade. The ICE June Brent crude oil futures increased 38 cents/b to
$100-120/b at the Asian close on April 21. Although
it is more profitable to sell to China than to other regions, some sellers want
to maintain the business relationship rather than raise prices and lose the
connection after a high-priced sale. The
strategy to make the most sales was to get end-users to use their
specifications and supply. This was done
to prevent end-users from switching quickly, even if they can find a slightly
