Asian benzene prices fell $16-21/mt to
$910.67-930.50/mt FOB Korea mark Sept. 14. In the afternoon trading session, the benzene physical
discussions softened due to weaker upstream prices. The bid was last heard at
$907--930/mt, against an offer of $910-930/mt November loading FOB Korea
cargoes. At 830 GMT on Sep. 14, the ICE
Brent frontline November contract price fell by $2.29-3.50/bbl to $92.88-97.50/bbl. The upstream market was weaker, but the rebound in
downstream markets boosted the bullish outlook. On Sep. 14, the ICE Brent
futures frontline November contract price was $92.88-97.50/bbl at 830 GMT. In downstream, Asian acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS)
prices were assessed higher due to slightly stronger demand from buyers. One producer said that he believes buyers are buying ABS in
