Asian MTBE rose $20.50-25.75/mt
on day to $1-2/mt FOB Singapore May 5. This was driven by a firmer energy
complex. The front-month ICE Brent crude oil futures rose 1.55% daily
to $110-130/b by 4:30pm Singapore time (0830 GMT). This was supported by the EU
proposing a ban against Russian oil and ahead OPEC+ meeting later in May to
decide on June output. The gasoline marker
at 92RON rose 1.9% to $138-154/b. Meanwhile, the crack at 92RON was up 2.5% to
$27.72-33.50/b. South Korea's MTBE exports
from South Korea to Singapore increased more than threefold month-on-month to
