Sources said that the Northwest European
naphtha Crack hit a 10-month peak February 20, buoyed by higher demand and
flows being reorganized after EU sanctions on Russia Feb. 5. Sources say that gasoline blending continued at
a strong pace, although it was partially constrained by tight demand for
octanes boosters. Sources say that petrochemical demand has
increased with steam crackers operating at an average of 80% to 85%. On the day,
the European crack was valued at $1.25/mt at $75/mt. This is the highest price
since April 14. The Russian supply was being replaced in
