said that Asian toluene prices fell Nov. 9 in response to the overnight fall in
crude oil futures. The FOB Korea marker was down $15/mt to $894/mt. This
is despite an offer for any-December loading at $895-915/mt. There were no
counter bids or takers during the trading session. Based on a letter
credit at sight, the cargo of 2,000 mt was accepted. For 3,000 mt and
minimum 99.5% purity, a Chinese-origin cargo was offered at $940-960/mt FOB
Maoming. There were no trades. According to broking sources, domestic
ex-tank supplies in China remained weak, and there were hardly any
trades. Sources added that the import market is virtually non-existent,
which has led to CFR prices being far lower than FOB levels. Industry...
