After
crude oil fell, the trading sentiment in Asia's benzene markets weakened on
February 9. At 0830
GMT, the front-month April Brent crude dropped 88 cents/b and was
$90.97/b-$90.105/b. Market sources said that there would be no significant
difference in April Brent crude oil prices, as healthy demand will support
this. Sources claimed that the Chinese domestic market has been back warded.
FOB Korea benzene physical dropped from $11.67/mt-$11.80/mt to
$1,031/mt-$1,045/mt on February 9. CFR China benzene physical fell by
$18/mt-$25/mt, to $1,052/mt-$1,065/mt. There were huge differences in the
floating basis March CFR China offers and bids against the March weekly Mean of
