Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. announced today that
it has acquired an 83.5% share in Conser, a technology licensor, and process
engineering Design Company based out of Rome, Italy. Conser was founded
more than 50 years ago and has been led to technological excellence by Flavio
Silmola. Closing is expected to occur by 15 April 2023, subject to normal
conditions. NextChem Holding still has the option to purchase the
remaining 16.5% within the next three-years. Because Conser will allow the
Group to enter new markets, it is strategically important that Conser is
acquired. It is estimated that Conser's total revenues will reach approximately
EUR25 millions in 2022.Conser holds a number of technology patents
that are dedicated to energy transition and specialty chemical processes. This
