Chongqing Huafon Chemical to operate Adipic acid unit at reduced rates

Chongqing Huafon Chemical will be running its Adipic acid (ADA) unit at lower capacity levels. A source in China informed a team member, “The company will curtail production runs at the unit starting March 13, 2026, due to supply constraints arising from geopolitical tensions in West Asia.” Located in Chongqing, China, the ADA unit has a production capacity of 180,000 mt/year.
