Asian polypropylene markets were stable or
higher week over week on Sept. 14. With assessing east China domestic prices up
Yuan 100-150/mt on Yuan 8,175-9,000/mt week, According to market
sources, Chinese domestic prices increased for the third consecutive week due
to the Mid-Autumn Festival season driving buying and end-users increasing
restocking efforts in advance of the Golden Week from Oct. 1-7. Some sources cite production rates of around 85% as the
average run rate for PP plants in China. A
