Asian styrene monomer was down
$15-$20/mt in the day at $1.015-$2.025/mt CFR China Oct. 13 and at $1.050-$2.070/mt
F.O. Korea Oct. 13. CFR
Unv1 marker was also assessed at $1,065-$2,010/mt. Also, it was lower than $15-$21/mt
on that day. However, the premium of $50-$55/mt CFR China was maintained. FOB China was also lower at $1,090-2,030/mt. This is $10-$15/mt
less than the previous day. According to
Unv1, markets are stable, but temporary drops in prices may be due to excess
supply due to the Golden Week holiday. He
said that ABS and PS plants were operating at full capacity but that EPS demand
