Asian toluene was unchanged at $947.50-970.50/mt
FOB Korea on Aug. 19, and at $949-970/mt CFR China on Aug. 22, due to thin trade
at the week's start. Crude oil prices were slightly lower and domestic toluene
prices in China rose. The
October ICE Brent crude oil futures fell 87 cents to $94.68-100.50/barrel. Isomer-MX dropped $7-8/mt to $975-990/mt FOB Korea from Aug.
19. China exported an unusually high
amount of toluene in July, following June's strong exports trend. China Customs
data from August 21 showed that July's exports reached 102,186mt, a decrease of
2.1% from June. According to market
