Asian FOB Singapore MTBE rose $22.50-27.50/mt
daily to $1,291-1,320/mt on July 4, due to a rebound within the energy complex. In light of deteriorating Libyan supply
disruptions, the front-month ICE Brent crude oil futures rose 1.47% to $111.08-130.50/b
at 4:30 PM Singapore time (0830 GMT). The Libyan
state-owned National Oil Corporation declared on June 30 that the country’s oil
supply crisis would worsen as it declared force majeure to crude exports. The gasoline
price rose by 1.76% to $137.48/b, with 92 RON rising 1.76%. According
to market participants, China's MTBE imports for July will be lower than in May
