Due to uncertainty in the global energy
market and economic environment, Asian toluene prices were mixed on Nov. 3. Crude futures fell as the
US dollar edged higher following overnight Fed rate increases. The Korea-origin market was quiet with no offers or bids. China-origin cargoes received no offers on day 2. H2 November was offered at $940-$960/mt FOB Maoming, 3,000
mt and 99.5% minimum purity. H1 December was offered for $955-$975/mt. Sources said that another cargo from East China was offered
at $950-$970/mt. CFR China levels
continued to drop as the domestic East China ex-tank market continues to
decline. According to broking sources, H2
November ex tank supplies were traded at Yuan 7,350 – Yuan7,430/mt. The next
bid was at Yuan 7.330 - Yuan12.400/mt....
