Chimei-Asahi Corp is likely to take off stream its Polycarbonate (PC) plant in Tainan. A source in Taiwan informed that, “The company is expected to halt operations at the plant for maintenance by mid-October 2025. However, details regarding the duration of the shutdown remain unclear, and confirmation from an authorized source could not been obtained.” Located in Tainan, Taiwan, the plant has a production capacity of 75,000 mt/year.
