Despite increased market participation
throughout the week, the market closed Nov. The US ethylene spot
market prices rose during the week ending Nov. 4. The November Choctaw price rose 1.75c on the week to
20.25c/lb FD Choctaw. Meanwhile, December Choctaw prices rose in tandem at
20.75c/lb FD Choctaw. This was due to a power cut at Chevron Phillips
Chemical's Cedar Bayou plant, Texas. sources
