On June 27, Asian toluene prices rose
largely in line with gains in crude oil. Trading sources indicated that Asia's mismatched demand and
supply fundamentals will likely lead to firmer prices in Northeast Asia, and
lower prices in Southeast Asia, and South Asia, this week. Buyers from South
Korea are still sourcing. Sources said
that demand from India and Southeast Asia has been weak due to high overall
costs. End-users are happy with the June supply. According to industry sources, Lotte Chemical Titan Malaysia
issued a term tender for 24,000 mt toluene between August 2022 and July 2023. Sources said that a FOB Zhangjiagang cargo of 5,000 mt was
