fundamental weakness, trade discussions in the Asian styrene market were
limited. Styrene
FOB China and CFR China remained unchanged at $1,035/mt and $1070/mt
respectively on October 7. FOB China
styrene was physically rested at $1110/mt on Oct 7. Trade discussions from Southeast Asia were soft. Both the seller
and buyer stressed no indications. Customs
data from Oct. 5 revealed that India imported 78.166 mt of polystyrene monomer
in august, which was down 3% from the 80.642 mt imports in July. Indian buyers anticipate India's demand will start to taper
off after Diwali and there were no bullish buying sentiments among
