Asia LPG prices rose to a one-week high on
Sept. 13, surpassing the $11.2-16.5/mt rise in November ICE Brent crude oil
futures. This was due to the dominance of the market by bidders despite no
offers. H1
October CFR North Asia propane rose $15.5-20.50/mt to $688.5-700.25/mt, the
highest price since Sept. 6, when it was $689-710/mt. The premium for H1 October CFR North Asia propane to October
CP swaps grew by $4.5-5.5/mt to $37.5-43.50/mt on Sept. 13. As abundant LPG flows from the Middle East increased the
availability of propane in Asia, the discount on H1 October delivery
butane-to-propane widened $5-6/mt to $40-45/mt September 13. This...
