Asia LPG prices fell to a
two-week low on Sept. 1, but not as much as the $21.84/mt drop that occurred in
November ICE Brent crude futures. This was due to a mix of supply and demand
fundamentals. In the first half of October CFR, North Asia propane was down $5.5/mt to $682/mt in the
first session. On Sept. 1, the premium for
H1 October CFR North Asia propane to October CP Swaps was $28/mt. According to trade sources, H1 October CFR North Asia Butane
was valued at $35/mt lower than propane on September 1 compared to $20/mt less
propane the previous session. This reflects expectations of an increase in
propane demand ahead of the winter season....
