buyer/seller pricesDue to the current economic climate, Asia's
demand for acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (or ABS) was weak. Southeast Asia's demand is
weak because buyers are facing low end-user demand. On a CFR SE Asia basis, selling indication prices were
unchanged at $1500-1520/mt. Although
demand for the region has improved slightly over the past week, the overall
demand is still low. Northeast Asia was
similarly affected, with prices not expected to rise in the fourth quarter
despite increased demand due to plentiful supply. As the holidays approach, producers were heard saying that
