In line with rising crude oil prices, Asian
toluene prices remained firm on February 16. The April ICE Brent contract increased $1.14/b
to $85.59/b at 0830 GMT Asian close. The market
was not open to firm offers or bids. Toluene
markers rolled on February 16th and took the average of second half March
laycans and first half April laycans. March-loading
toluene cargoes at $850/mt were bought at $885/mt FOB Korea. They also received
$850/mt at $910/mt CFR China. The price was up $5/mt and $5/mt respectively at
$910/mt FOC China Feb. 16. Sources said that a bid was received
for March arrival at $915-$920/mt CFR China. It would be for 2,000 mt of 99.5%
purity toluene with a letter...
