- South Korean truckers end their strike- The domestic prices continue to fall



Asian styrene monomer dropped $17-23/mt on
the day to $1.424-2.500/mt CFR China on June 15, and $1.454-2.500/mt FBO Korea
on June 15. Market sources stated that there was continued low demand in both
domestic and export markets. One
trader stated that FOB China's July 1st-half exports were being offered at
$1,470-1,500/mt, but buyers refused to buy because the prices were too high and
the gap between buyers' estimates was still wide. The prompt marker in the East China market was reduced to
Yuan 125-175/mt at Yuan 10,885-11,000/mt Ex-Tank. This equates to $1,398.72-1,430.50/mt
on an imported-parity basis. After an
