Asian isomer-grade mixedxylene was down
$19/mt to $786/mt FOB Korea and at $805/mt CRU Unv1. It was $30/mt at $825/mt
CRU China Dec. 7, following a sharply lower Brent crude oil prices. February ICE Brent crude
oil fell $3.33/b, to $79.36/b by 0830 GMT in Asian trading. China's domestic oil prices were also lower due to a weak
crude oil complex. December East China ex tank price was heard at Yuan
6,850-6900 or $845/mt if you consider import-parity. January was also heard earlier in the day at Yuan 6,740/mt
or $825.80/mt. CFR China was also lower
than expected due to sharp falls in domestic prices. There were no CFR China
offers or bids. Paraxylene dropped $4/mt
