Slower demand caused
prices to fall in Asian PET markets in the week ended February 15. Prices in PET bottle markets fell slightly week-on-week. Some producers
from China and Southeast Asia reduced offers slightly due to the decline in key
upstream PTA/PX markets. The trade was generally stable in comparison to the week before, with
traders stating that both export and domestic trades were steady. According to market sources, operating rates are still high at around
