Asian isomer MX prices suffered losses on
June 14th, with the FOB Korea marker falling $24-30/mt to $1,331. The China market is
excluded. A Market on Close assessment
revealed that an any-July bid was last heard at $1.335-2.500/mt FOB Korea at
4:00 PM Singapore Time (0800-0830 GMT). Sources
said that the US demand is strong, but that prices for isomer-MX were being
pressured by weak paraxylene. Another
source stated that the prices had already peaked and that the current drop in
the price of isomer-MX will allow the spread of the PXX-MX to recover slightly. According to a third source, the CFR China market was
