On week, the US
acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene assessment fell 3 cents. Spot ABS was valued at
102-104/cents/lb on week. Brazil pricing
was not available. US styrene prices
decreased by $999/mt Nov. 8 compared to $1,060/mt Nov. 1. Due to mixed demand, US spot acrylonitrile prices fell $20
this week to $1,560/mt FOB USG November 8. According to current price fundamentals, a source claimed
that they could see prices approaching $1,500-1,540/mt in near future. However,
the source stated that it was too early for them to predict if FOB prices will
drop below $1,500-1,535/mt. The domestic
ACN contract remained stable at 82.75 Cents/lb. This assessment was made using an industry-accepting formula
