Asian toluene prices
remained stable on April 28 despite tight trading sessions on crude futures and
limited discussions on spot toluene markets. Both buyers and sellers remained on the sidelines despite
volatile crude and downstream prices. Although
cargoes were available from the Philippines, details were not clear. There were no trades reported. Trading sources reported that most Southeast Asia buyers
were in balance and waiting for supply schedules for June, while still
receiving a delivery from previous purchases. Trading sources said that inventory levels in SEA were
stable while India had low stocks. The
domestic Chinese prices were generally lower throughout the trading day. There
