Due to tight domestic supplies, Styrene
buyers in China may have purchased September spot cargoes from Japan and Unv1
on Sept. 6. In
the meantime, Indian buyers were able to buy Middle Eastern cargoes from Japan
and Unv1 on Sept. 6. A buyer stated that
domestic China deals had prices that were more volatile than fixed because of
the unstable market situation. Although
Middle Eastern September cargoes were being offered to India, no deals were
made. The fourth quarter demand is
expected to remain weak until the second half of December. Asian spot styrene monomer costs are $6-7/mt higher than the
previous day at $1130-1160/mt CFR China. China's
domestic price was higher than Yuan 140-200/mt at Yuan...
