CFR China remained unchanged at $1.300/mt on February 15, while MMA CFR
Southeast Asia increased by $100/mt to $1,500/mt during the same
period. PMMA CFR China was up $60/mt at $1,810/mt Feb. 15. While PMMA CFR
Southeast Asia was steady at $2,150/mt during the same time period. A
source stated that signs of recovery are still elusive because market
participants couldn't foresee healthy demand in spring, which is traditionally
the peak season. According to a trader, however, the demand appears to be stable
even though market sentiment remains low. Sources claim that spot deals
have been more common in MMA and PMMA markets lately due to the need for stocks
