stable in the week of September 14-21, despite limited spot discussions and a
bearish outlook. In
East Asia, there was an increase in buying inquiries. The buying interest remained lower due to the bearish
sentiment coming from downstream. A source
said that because of the lower operating rate, inventory levels are considered
lower, which means that buying interest has increased. According to market participants, the peak season for
September-October is expected to be weaker than normal due to global inflation. The Christmas demand from western countries for final
products is expected to be low. Given the
weakening demand and abundant supply upstream, the outlook for the fourth quarter
