Asia benzene was valued at $9/mt-$10/Mt higher than the
previous session, at $1231.33/mt-$1250.55/mt FOB Korea May 13 the average of H1 June, H2
June, and H1 July laycans was used by the marker. There were no transparent offers or bids during the Market
on Close assessment on May 13. Each July
laycan was assessed at $1228/mt- $1240/mt. This is higher than the $1227/mt-$1240/mt
last bid. August laycans were valued at
$1209/mt-$1240/mt. This is below the $1210/mt-$1250/mt offer. H2 June laycan was valued at $1233/mt- $1265/mt. H2
June/July spread was at plus $5/mt-$10/mt. This is despite the fact that H2
June/July had been physically spread traded at plus $5/mt. H1 June laycan was assessed at the same level as H2 June
laycan. The CFR China marker was unchanged
