Asian
isomer-grade mixed xylene was valued up $51/mt on the day at $1.218/mt- FOB
Korea. It was up $25/mt to $1,166/mt CFI Taiwan and up $10/mt to $1,061/mt CFI
China, May 12. As US MX and other blendstocks prices rose overnight, The June cargoes' bids
rose, surpassing the $1,200/mt-$1250/mt FOB Korea threshold. This was where
there was finally some selling interest in the market. China's market was still below $1,000/mt- $1,020/mt on an
import-parity basis. However, overnight in the US, May and June MX FOB US Gulf
prices rose 10 cents/gallon ($30.40/mt), to 491 cents/gallon (or $1,492.60/mt),
