- Outlook bullish after
demand recovers- ICE crude oil futures
are down 16 Cents/b

Due
to a slightly tight supply, Asian mono ethylene glycol prices rose on May 12. According to market
sources, several Chinese producers were operating at around 60% due to lower
margins and slower sales. The ICE July
Brent futures contract fell 16 cents/b to $105.36/b at 4:30 pm Singapore time. Sources said that MEG prices will recover as COVID-19
lockdowns begin to ease in the benchmark China market. However, market
participants remain uncertain about the absorption of higher US production in
Asia.
