In the week ending Dec, demand
remained low across European oxo-alcohol markets. In the week to December 15, demand remained weak
across European oxo alcohol markets. The market
saw little trading activity due to weak buyer appetite. Market participants
also noted that there was little demand for iso-butanol, n-butanol, and 2-ethyl
hexanol in Europe. Input pricing pressures increased production costs, limiting
market pricing flexibility, and continued bearish market fundamentals in Q4. Prices in
all markets remained stable over the week. Market participants were facing
uncertainty and a lack of buyer appetite. The spot
prices for export n-butanol were $1,300-1,340/mt FOB Rotterdam. This is
