Asia LPG prices fell further to just above
two-month lows Dec. 20. This was despite the $3.76-4.85/mt gain recorded in
February Brent crude futures. Front-cycle
H2 January-delivery North Asia H2 December-20 propane declined $10/mt to
$601.50/mt Dec. 20, the lowest level since Oct. 18, when the price was
$591.5/mt. The H2 January CFR North Asia propane premium to
January CP Swaps was at $50.50-55.80/mt on Dec. 20. The H2
January-delivery propane was valued at $15-20/mt higher than the propane on
Dec. 20. This was due to regional demand and increased butane use for winter
