Asian toluene was valued at $890-920/mt FOB
Korea, down $4-5/mt and stable at $928-950/mt CFR China Aug. 11, despite higher
domestic China prices. Despite
no discussion on toluene trades in CFR China or FOB Korea, domestic Chinese
prices were higher than expected during the day. At the intraday level the FOB Korea marker was valued at
$890-920/mt. This is a selling idea that was heard at $865-890/mt FOB Korea in
September. It also indicates that the intermonth spread between September &
October will be approximately $10-$15/mt. According
to the information, the spread between September & October narrowed from
$46-52/mt up to $20-25/mt in the intraday. At 1630 Singapore Time, the October ICE Brent crude oil was
