The spot prices of N-butanol,
2-ethylhexanol and iso-butanol were stable during the week to February 23rd,
despite little trading activity. Due to
limited derivative demand, and slow buy sentiment, the market remained quiet. In the week
ending February 23, a similar trend was apparent across the propylene value
chain, with sellers being affected by high input costs. Market
dynamics are expected to remain sluggish for the remainder of the quarter,
according to trading participants. A distributor stated that demand is
low and prices are not likely to change from last week. He also said that
fundamentals and stock markets will remain the same for the month. Domestic
2-EH spot prices remained unchanged...
